To fully push forward the implementation of the municipal committee's 'Promote Development, Boost the Economy' work plan, the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress has launched the 'Year of Research on High-Quality Economic Development' campaign. It focuses on eight areas, including supporting companies to go public, developing and promoting cultural and creative brands, advancing the high-quality development of the flower industry, and optimizing the legal business environment, carrying out in-depth research and study throughout the year to help 'boost the economy'.
On May 19, Liu Wenge, deputy director of the city's Standing Committee of the People's Congress, led a research team to investigate the city's efforts in supporting companies to go public, with Deputy Mayor Gao Jinghua accompanying the activity.
The research team visited Shandong Huajing Glass Co., Ltd., Shandong Bainong Sida Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Shandong Huiqiang Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd. for on-site inspections. Afterwards, they held a discussion meeting, listened to reports on the city's government work, and exchanged ideas, offering suggestions and opinions.
The research team pointed out that relevant departments should continue to strengthen training on listing knowledge, improve entrepreneurs’ knowledge and practical skills for going public, and speed up adapting to the new system requirements and processes under the registration-based IPO system. They should also make every effort to support the listing of key companies, further smooth the 'direct listing channel' mechanism, and leverage special teams to coordinate overall listing work. Additionally, they need to actively tap into reserve resources, supplement, adjust, and update the reserve database based on company development, continuously improve the cultivation mechanism, and promote listings in a tiered, industry-specific, and step-by-step way.
